Woodworking Gift Ideas – Over $100

Gift ideas!

Buying a gift for the woodworking in your lift is difficult. You don’t know what they have, what they don’t have, what they want, what they need, or what works with the items they already have. If you are looking for ideas, this is intended to provide you some ideas and inspiration when searching for gifts that a woodworker would love to have in his or her shop. We have compiled a list and some descriptions that will help make this process a little easier.

Below is a list for woodworking items that are over $100. These items are great for all situations, stand alone gifts, white elephants gifts, stocking stuffers, or sidekick gifts with larger items.

Porter Cable 20 Volt Max Drill-Driver – An excellent upgrade if your woodworker is invested in Porter Cables 20 Volt Max battery platform. This is a great unit for a woodworkers tasks.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Surge – Incredibly quiet and powerful, this unit is great for something that is invested in the M18 battery platform and would like to upgrade from their louder impact driver or would like to have a much quieter shop.

Porter Cable 20 Volt Max 18 Gauge Nailer – If your woodworker doesn’t have a compressor or simply wants to get rid of his/her air hose. This is a great unit for folks that already have the Porter cable 20 Volt Max battery platform.

KISS Drill Bit System – Organization is very important, drill bits and drivers are no different. If you walk out into your woodworkers workshop and notice they have drill bits and drivers laying around their drill press or hand drills, this is a great purchase. Not only for the organization factor, but the bit that are included in this system are very high quality.

Bosch 2.25 HP Router Combo Kit – A spectacular combo kit for a first time router owner or someone that is upgrading from a dated unit. The fixed base and plunge base both have their applications and are a must in the woodworking shop.

Ridgid OScillating Spindle/Edge Sander – The iconic unit from Ridgid is a perfect give if your woodworker doesn’t have a spindle sander or edge sander. This is a great space saving unit for a smaller shop as well!

Makita Subcompact Drill-Driver and Impact Driver – If your woodworker is invested in the Makita 18volt battery platform might be looking at purchasing a smaller/lighter 12 volt platform, this combo kit is an excellent buy. They can keep their same battery platform and get the smaller/lighter units.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel 16 Gauge Brad Nailer – 16 gauge can be a bit large for some tasks in a woodworking shop but are excellent for the larger work. Tacking cabinets or panels together. It runs off the famous M18 battery platform.

10 Piece CNC Bit Set – CNC are becoming more and more affordable, and woodworkers are loving it! Having the right bit for the task at hand is very important. This 10 piece set will get you going in the right direction with a handful of the bits having replaceable inserts for a lifetime of use.

Milwaukee M18 10-inch Miter Saw – Having a cordless miter saw in the woodworking shop may raise some eyebrows but we thought it would be an excellent opportunity to bring the DIY’ers into the mix. If your woodworker has some house projects in the near future, this unit is a perfect fit. Those projects could be building a fence or deck, remodeling, or other outdoor projects.

Ryobi 18 Volt Hot Glue Gun –  We don’t use a hot glue gun often in the shop often but but when we do, having a cordless unit is wonderful.
