    Cool Router Table

Soon, I will be in the need for a router table. I would like to build one exactly like Steve Ramsey's at Woodworking for Mere Mortals. But, in the meantime I will probably need to buy something to work on until then. I have a question though. Should I make an el cheapo wooden table or buy some ol cheapo metal table? What would you do?

I have found that "el cheapo" anything is generally a waste of time. Having said that, I'd go for building a quickie wooden table. I'm not a fan of metal tables.

Bosch makes a nice table top model that I've been looking at for quite some time now. It's not real expensive either.

You would just have to see if your router fits it.

I found the ra1181 on RouterTableReviews.net. Anyone know if it's any good?
