Mobile stand for my new table saw

So I went with the Dewalt DWE7480, and I have ZERO complaints so far.

Since the saw is just a saw, I had to build a housing/table for it, and I am almost done.

Since the saw fits kind of snug, it will be very hard to get at the stored pieces-parts onboard, so I have a bin below the saw to hold them

Also had to notch out the sides for the fence to extend past the sidewalls

Next up is the swing-out sidewings, which will extend the table surface on both sides and back of the saw.

Nice stand. My dad just bought the same saw and I am trying to talk him into building a similar stand. Maybe a little wider just so he can use everyone underneath for shelves.

Yeah, I bought the plans for this one on Wood Magazine, I think. It was sized for a Bosch GTS1031, but I made adjustments as needed. The plans include a bin lid that is also a router table surface with fence which swaps out with the table saw base, but I already have a router table, so I left the bin open.

I also still have to cut a small opening for the power cord to pass through, and a dust collector/vacuum hose access hole on the back.

So after some struggles which arose from not following the plan instructions, I am almost finished with this project. I thought I knew what I was doing when mounting the sidewing extensions, but after a few misplaced hinges and salty sailor cusswords, I had to sit down and re-read the plan. Duh - that actually worked!

Okay, I am done with this project. I have used it a couple of times, and I can say that it is very sturdy, the extensions are great. One thing though, I had to notch out the inner sides of the two side extensions so that the saw's stock fence can move side to side. Anyway, here are some pics of the finished product:

The bin at the bottom was supposed to have a lid that doubled as a router table top, but since I already made a router table, I left the bin open.
