I have been into woodworking for a long time. In the past few years I have moved into machining. I have 17" Sidney conehead lathe and a master mill, portable milling machine. Watching craigslist for a horizontal mill I can afford. As part of that I have been casting aluminum and hope to work my way up to cast iron.

I'm here today because I have a chance to trade equipment I am not using for this hydraulic metal break. Owner says it weighs about 2000 lbs. It leaks oil from the cylinders but works. I am assuming the hydraulic cylinders can be fixed with new seals.

I'd like to find out more about it prior to closing the deal. The owners is a trucker and we plan to trade when he next returns so I snapped a few pictures from outside his security fence. This is the only view I have. Can anyone help me ID this beast.

Two cylinders on the main press and a much smaller press on the right side. I think the unit on the left is the air over hydraulic pump.
