Hey guys sorry it's been a while since posting I've been super busy on and off work as I'm sure you guys can relate. The kitchen isn't finished yet due to I'm out of freaking money but it is useable and workable as of now. I have done everything from the ceiling down. I will post pictures in order the best I can

Went overboard on blocking for my open shelving going above kitchen sink


Rock all hung


This cut out with the chip board is going to be a doorway that goes into my pantry which I am building in the garage. Just left it covered for now since I haven't framed the little room in there for it.


Made a nice big 5 ft opening which I will trim out in either pine 1x or pine beams. Haven't decided


Mudding and sanding done. Which I suck ass at in case you were wondering


Ripped out my old kitchen cabinets to use


Installed 8 nice led can lights


Figured out the best I could since I was working with used cabinets where to put them


Got the uppers hung also and had to make some small trim pieces to cover the gaps went off the wrong layout and threw my corner off.


Trim pieces in


Big 5 foot sink base (which was my workbench in my shop


Got them all sprayed


Butcher block tops and sink and new dishwasher installed. Didn't finish the other tops yet just the sink base

How it sits now. The cabinets that aren't painted will be more storage and a bar. I'm going to roll those instead of spraying. That sprayer didn't get them good enough honestly it would be best to roll everything and spray only doors and drawer fronts.


And just to add to it my girl got bees so I made the yellow hive for her to keep them in. She bought the other one and painted both of them. They are pretty cool to watch

They are actually pretty docile, I just mowed my yard and get right by them and they don't bother you. They are extremely fun to watch! Thanks for the kind reply!

I hope you can keep us updated on the bees. I have always been fascinated by them and plan on getting some hives when we move out of town in a few years. Are you going to be collecting the honey, or will you just be keeping them for pollination?

Honestly as of now they're just my girlfriends hobby. She may collect some honey when they are more established but as of now they're just for because we like watching them lol
